Performance

The Woman on the Other Side of San Francisco, The Marsh Theater,
San Francisco, U.S.A.

August 2025

Performed a one-woman play, a 20-minute works in progress piece written by me which premiered at the Marsh Theater in San Francisco.

The play follows Amaly, who, due to AI taking over the workforce, gets laid off at the last non-profit in the world while living at home with her parents. On a date for an arranged marriage by her devout Christian Congolese parents, she hits her head, resulting in amnesia. She must find her identity through a series of sensuous and daring adventures against the desires of those who knew her in her past life. Hitting her head again, she regains her memory and must decide if she will reclaim her old identity or build a new one.
